Step 3 — Starting Carcols Fixer

Carcols Fixer is a regular FiveM resource. You start it from your server console — there is no node ., no terminal, and nothing to launch outside FiveM.

1. Make sure the CarcolsFixer folder is in your server''s resources/ directory and that config.json has your license key. See Setup if you have not done this yet.
2. Open your FiveM server console (the window where you see live server logs).
3. In the server console, run:

   start CarcolsFixer

4. Carcols Fixer will start, check for ID overlaps, and write its changes. Watch the console output for any warnings or errors.
5. Start or restart your vehicles after Carcols Fixer has finished running so they pick up the new IDs.

Reverting changes

If you ever need to undo every change Carcols Fixer has made — for example before uninstalling it or to compare behavior — run this command in your FiveM server console:

revertCarcolsFixer

The original carcols and carvariations files will be restored to the state they were in before Carcols Fixer last ran.
